Years ago I heard the phrase “What a leader says, happens” and it stuck.
To achieve this level of excellence, leaders must be masters at committing to and planning for an often uncertain future, holding themselves and their teams accountable, knowing when and how to make the best decisions and communicating effectively.
They also must know themselves and their environment so well that they are always several steps ahead of everyone else.
Because who wouldn’t want to make something happen by simply saying it?
